Most small to medium-sized business websites are suitable. However, if you have a website with ecommerce (e.g. a webshop/online store) or with more than 20 pages (which is quite a lot), you can request a custom quotation for the cost.
It's very straightforward. We use the contents of your current website (literally copying the text and photos) and build a new website in Squarespace. When the demo is ready, you are sent a link to the new website. We can make small changes and corrections at this point.
When you decide to go ahead, Siteboosta transfers the ownership of the website to you, so you can subscribe to Squarespace's basic hosting plan which takes the website out of demo mode. When you're ready to go live with the new website, we can help you make the necessary small changes.
This is covered in more detail here.
Squarespace is a powerful but user-friendly, SaaS-based content management system (CMS) comprised of a website builder, blogging platform and hosting service. It allows individuals and businesses to create and maintain websites and blogs. Squarespace's primary competitors are WordPress, Weebly, Wix.com and GoDaddy though after assessing these alternatives, Siteboosta has decided to use Squarespace exclusively.
Of course! However, as user-friendly as Squarespace may be, there's still a learning curve. It just boils down to the time value of money - how long would you have to spend building a website yourself before it becomes cheaper to get us to do it for you?
No, you are not tied to us in any way. As mentioned above, it probably isn't worth doing the initial makeover yourself but Squarespace allows you to easily make content changes (like business opening times, prices, special offers and so on) without needing technical assistance or installing software and from any internet-connected device. In fact most clients find this one of the biggest benefits of the makeover.
Normally, almost none. However, you may need to supply higher resolution images than those on your current website.
At no point are any changes made to the existing website, so the makeover process is risk-free.
Yes. All pages on the existing website will be mapped to the equivalent page on the new website using 301 url redirects. This way the pages of the new website will inherit the page rankings of the old pages.
The short answer is that you don't need to. A site map is a list of URLs on a site that tells search engine crawlers about the structure of its content. Your Squarespace site comes with a site map, so you don't need to create one manually. It includes the URLs for all pages on your site and image metadata for SEO-friendly indexing.
Yes. Siteboosta will incorporate your Google Analytics Id into the new website. If you don't have one yet it's very easy to add later. In any case, your new website has built-in metrics giving you plenty of insight into how users are finding you and interacting with your website.
